Bit of story
In 2012, Adobe launched the Creative Cloud subscription model with the ambitious intention of making it a «one-stop hypermarket» for the designer, where you can get everything you need for a modest monthly fee, from any creative app to all sorts of online services. Of course, making such statements and not paying attention to one of the designer’s favorite tools was completely impossible. The main role was played by the acquisition of 2011, the pioneer web font company Typekit.
Offline mode
If the Creative Cloud desktop app is running offline, fonts will not appear in the app’s font lists. When you disconnect from the network while the Creative Cloud desktop app is running, the activated fonts are displayed and remain available.
